Do you have someone that inspires you? For me, that person is my brother Scott. Not because he's my oldest brother, but because he has endured more pain, uncertainty and struggles in the last 10 years battling brain cancer than most people go through their entire life. Through it all he has never complained and ALWAYS has a smile on his face.
I know I'm not the only person who has been inspired by Scott's strength. I remember at a college dinner one of Scott's professors made a speech about Scott and how she was blown away by his amazing attitude and strength. It brought tears to my eyes that my brother had touched and amazed her so much. His doctors have said they've never seen anyone in such good spirits before a radiation treatment. They have no doubt that his positive, cheerful attitude is the reason he's still here fighting this cancer today.
While he's going through surgeries and treatments he's always telling us that it's going to be okay and that we shouldn't worry. If you met Scott you wouldn't know he had cancer unless someone told you. He is the most caring, loving, wonderful person I know and I am truly blessed to have him in my life.
I love you! Luv your lil' sis Jenn
I know that many of you have been wanting to help Scott, Jenn, Brooke & Chloe but either haven't had the opportunity or don't know how. This website will hopefully solve that problem and at the same time keep everyone connected with Scott. Although insurance helps with some of the cost, there are still many bills that have to be paid out of pocket. Radiation alone is $4,000/day. I want to give others the opportunity to help ease the financial strain since it's the last thing a family should have to worry about while helping their loved one battle an illness.
